## About
- PhEST is photography, cinema, music, art, contaminations from the Mediterranean. PhEST is born out of the need to give back a voice to the thousand identities that form the “sea within the lands”, the need to redefine a new, original imagery.
- PhEST 2025: Monopoli, August 8 - November 16.

- In 1977, NASA launched the Voyager probes into interstellar space, carrying with them the Golden Record: a disc filled with sounds, images and music from Earth — a testimony of life and human culture, meant for some form of alien existence that might one day come across it.

- Now, on its 10th anniversary, PhEST creates and launches its own capsule: a visual message sent toward an unknown elsewhere.

- Inside, a portrait of life on our planet. A capsule that, as an archive of the present, suspended between memory and future, holds everything we are: desires, contradictions, relationships, identities.

- Our message to those who might one day find it: “This is us.”

- More than 30 exhibitions spread across the historic centre of Monopoli
- Artists from all over the world bring photography, contemporary art and music to the heart of Apulia
- The Festival takes place both outdoors and indoors and in locations that generally are not accessible to the public (e.g. the beautiful Palazzo Palmieri)
- Held every year from August to November
- Single ticket for access to all indoor exhibitions
